Diane Baxter Williamson

November 16, 1950 - June 12, 2022

Diane Baxter Williamson, 71 of Lillian, went peacefully to be with the Lord on June 12, 2022 in Mansfield Texas. Diane was born to James Lewis and Margaret (Galloway) Baxter on November 16, 1950 in Des Arc, Arkansas. She graduated from Bell Gardens Highschool and went on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Southern California. She became a police officer on the narcotics unit. She later worked for LD Brickman and Harris Health System before becoming secretary and bookkeeper for her husband and his business partner, Danny Vauble, in their counter top business. Diane married Don Williamson on September 13, 1978. Together they raised seven children and she later became a doting Mamaw to eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Diane and Don moved to Lillian in 1984 and she was an active member of the community including being the President of the Pleasant Point Cemetery Association. She loved sewing and genealogy. Diane helped family and friends research and learn their genealogical history, even reconnecting families. Diane was a caregiver; always willing to open her home and help anyone in need. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Baxter. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Don Williamson; children, Beth Harsman-Martinez and husband, Larry, Steven Harshman and wife, Wendy, Bradley Williamson, James Evans, Samuel Stell, James (JL) Patten and wife, Alberta, and Iris Carroll; grandchildren, Analiese, Aubrey, Tanner, Jacob, Matthew, Trenton, Easton, Clayton, Katelyn, Emma, and Ethan; great-grandchild, Spencer; sisters, Glenda Vrba and Debora Baxter; and numerous members of extended family and friends.
