Augustus Faller, 63, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on August 13, 1961, in Queens, New York, to Philip Faller and Mae McQuade Faller. Gus was raised in both New York and New Jersey and graduated from West Milford High School in 1979.
He married the love of his life, Debbie Tamuccio, in 1988, and they shared 36 wonderful years together. The couple was blessed with two daughters, Heather and Jacqueline, who brought immense joy to Gus's life.
Gus dedicated over 25 years of his professional life to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where he served as a Correctional Programs Manager. He found great fulfillment in his work and the impact it had on the lives of others.
In his spare time, Gus was known for his love of outdoors, particularly when it came to deer hunting with friends. He also enjoyed reading, watching football, and sharing precious moments racing cars with his grandson. A quick-witted and sarcastic man, Gus never hesitated to lend a helping hand to family and friends, leaving a mark on everyone he met.
Gus was preceded in death by his birth mother, Mae McQuade Faller, in 1961; his father, Philip Faller, in 2012; his stepmother, Marguerite Goodloe, in 2006; and his sisters, Marion Furci in 2010 and Kathryn Cosgrove in 2017.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Faller; daughters, Heather (and her husband Trevor) and Jacqueline Faller; and Jacqueline's son, John Uplegger, along with a host of family and friends whose lives Gus touched in amazing ways.
