Berta Lee Hill

Berta Lee Hill, born on August 22, 1932, in Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many during her time on earth.

For over 20 years, Berta dedicated her career to childcare, providing love and support to children and their families. She had a special passion for nurturing young minds and was deeply committed to their well-being.

Berta married Andrew Paul Hill in 1950. The couple shared a beautiful life together until Andrew's passing. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Leta Faye Hackett Hill, and her sister, Dorthey. Berta was the beloved daughter of Mosley and Minnie Krantz.

Throughout her life, Berta found joy in many simple pleasures. She enjoyed watching the Christian channel and the food channel, as well as spending time doing crossword puzzles. These hobbies brought her comfort and happiness.

Berta is survived by her brother, Foy Krantz, and her grandchildren, James Hill and his wife, Lindsay. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Rachel Hill and Andrew Hill, and her great-great-grandchild, Haley Lynn Faye Sanchez.

A visitation will be held on December 6, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM at 401 Elm St, Mansfield, Texas. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location at 10:00 AM. Berta will be laid to rest at Hudson Cemetery in Kennedale, Texas, with burial services starting at 11:15 AM.

Berta Lee Hill will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
