Betty Pauline Workman, 84, passed away September 3, 2019 in Fort Worth. Betty was born to Daniel Boone and Jewell Myrtle (Elms) Austin on November 2, 1934 in Ringling, Oklahoma and attended Zaneis High School.
Betty once worked at Montgomery Ward where she met another employee, Bill Eugene Workman. That meeting with Bill would lead to a 53 year marriage and the creation of a family of three children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed gardening and oil painting but loved her Heavenly Father and her family. She attended Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ where she lead the Greeting Card Ministry and was involved in Heart’s and Hands, a non-profit organization that feeds and assists those in need.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Bill, Father and Mother, siblings Danelle Baldwin and Mary Lee.
Betty is survived by her children Steve, Chris and Darrell Workman, siblings Hazel Arnett, Donald Austin and Esta Austin as well as brother G.W. Austin, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
