Brenda Joyce Sells

Brenda Joyce Sells, born Brenda Joyce Jones, passed away on September 24, 2026, in Mansfield, Texas, at the age of 77. She was born on August 30, 1949, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Brenda will be remembered for the joy she found in the simple and meaningful things of life. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, painting, and gardening, and she especially treasured time with her grandchildren. These interests reflected her creative spirit and the care she gave to the people and world around her.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Sells, and by her sons, Brian Sells and his wife Sherry, and Scott Sells and his wife Angie. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Christinia Rinker and her husband Ryan, Mattie Lambert and her husband Trevor, and Kyann Sells, along with five great-grandchildren. Brenda’s family was at the heart of her life, and her love for them will remain a lasting part of her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ray and Beth Jones, and by her sister, Gidget La Porte. Their memory remained an important part of her life and story.

Visitation will be held on September 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blessing Funeral & Cremations, 401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service will be held on October 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Blessing Funeral & Cremations, 401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063. Burial will follow on October 1, 2026, from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Mansfield Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Mansfield, TX 76063.

Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, creativity, and devotion to her family will be remembered with love always.
