Bruce Eugene Thompson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bruce Eugene Thompson on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 70. Bruce resided in Alvarado.
He was born November 9, 1949 in Spirit Lake, Iowa and graduated from Walnut Springs High School in 1969. He then proudly served our country in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Bruce was a strong, proud and good man and is loved and missed by many.
Bruce is preceded in death by his father Lewis and mother Irene (Eaton) Thompson and sisters Sharon, Carol and Roxie.
He will be greatly missed and is survived by his daughter Lisa Thompson Reyes (husband Tim), two granddaughters, Robin Martin and Summer Reyes, three great grandchildren, Barrett, Baylor and Landon Martin, one brother, Vernon Thompson (wife Terri) two sisters, Judy Gibson and Karen Hurtt (husband Brad) as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his much loved dog, Wolfe.
