Carol Ann McMillen, affectionately known as Ann, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on April 1, 1943, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
Ann was known for her loving and giving nature. She was a strong Christian woman who exhibited unwavering loyalty and dependability throughout her life. Her personality shone brightly, making her the best person to know. She filled her days with the simple joys of life, which included a passion for gardening, a love for potato chips and ice cream, and treasured time spent with her family. Ann found happiness in the great outdoors, whether it was camping, visiting the lake, or delighting in the peaceful act of picking up pecans from her yard and indulging in their sweet flavor.
Ann is survived by her beloved family, including her son, Loyd Wayne McMillen; daughters, Beverly Cole and Debra McMillen; grandchildren, Loyd Wayne McMillen Jr., Brandy Allen, and Stephanie McMillen; and great-grandchildren, Loyd Wayne McMillen III, James "Jimmy" McMillen, Rose McMillen, Mary Thomason, McKenzie Webb, and Katelynn Webb. Her legacy will also continue through her sisters, Glinda Phillips and Betty Wise, her son-in-law, Baye Cole, as well as numerous family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Loyd C. McMillen, and her parents, Charles and Roanna Allcorn, her late son, David McMillen, and her sister, Ellen Daly.
A visitation will take place on January 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service honoring her life will be held on January 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial at Cope Cemetery.
Carol Ann McMillen's spirit and warm presence will be dearly missed, but her memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
