Carol Jean Wilson

Carol Jean Wilson, 87, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1938, in Kingsford, Michigan, to Alice and Arthur Schultz. Carol will be remembered for her kind smile, adventurous spirit, and remarkable resilience throughout her life.

A dedicated educator, Carol poured her heart into teaching and devoted herself to her family. She cherished the moments spent reading, playing games, and bragging about her handsome tall grandsons. On November 4, 1967, Carol married Don Carl Wilson, and together they celebrated almost 55 years of marriage filled with love and laughter.

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Carrie Hogg, and her husband Kerek; her son Justin Wilson and his wife Michelle; and her cherished grandsons, Colton and Jackson Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wilson, and her siblings: Dorothy Dorfler and her husband Joe Dorfler, Robert Schultz, Donald Schultz, and Beverly LaCost and her husband Ron LaCost.

She found immense joy in sewing, reading, and engaging in her daily devotions with God. Those who knew her will carry fond memories of a woman who put love into all that she did, consistently prioritizing the well-being of those she cherished.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Blessing Funeral Home, located at 401 Elm Street, Mansfield, TX 76063, at 10 a.m. Her love, strength, and presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
