Claire Reilly

Claire Reilly of Mansfield, TX died peacefully in her sleep November 9, 2023. She was born Claire Margaret Schlehuber in Peoria, Illinois to Clarence and Veronica Scanlon Schlehuber on October 31, 1926.

She is predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Charles Edward Reilly, Jr. She is also predeceased by her parents, brothers -Robert Schlehuber, Clarence Schlehuber, Jr. (Bud) and Donald Schlehuber, as well as, by two sisters- Eileen Schlehuber Swanson and Mary Louise Schlehuber aka Sister Maria Ania. Claire is also predeceased by sons John Dennis Reilly & Patrick Kevin Reilly as well as by granddaughter Katherine Claire Reilly.

She is survived by daughters Sheila Reilly Kornegay (Lin) of Houston, TX and Marianne Reilly Madory (Rich) of Mansfield TX, as well as, sons James Reilly (Joan) of San Luis Obispo, CA and Michael Reilly (Lisa) of Yuma, AZ --Claire leaves behind 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Claire and her husband moved to Mansfield in 2014 to be near their daughters. They had previously lived in La Habra, CA since 1964.

Claire was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, as well as, a much-loved aunt.
