Donna Lynn Dehn Bagby from Alvarado, TX, previously from Lansing, KS passed away comfortably at Community Hospice House in Burleson, TX at 2:30am May 31, 2025.
Donna was born on July 25, 1948 in Belleville, IL as an only child to Donald Dehn and Betty Dehn. Donna graduated from Belleville Township High School. She was a Rainbow Girl and Job’s Daughter. She moved from Belleville to Maryland Heights, MO with her parents and began working as a secretary where she met her future husband Daniel, a young 2nd Lt in the Army. Together Donna and Dan moved around to different military postings before settling in Leavenworth, KS where she worked in school administration in the Leavenworth school district and finally, University of Saint Mary. After retirement Donna spent her time volunteering at the local VA lending closet and the local animal shelter where she was able to share her passion and love of animals. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and found a love for cruises and visiting Alaska repeatedly as she was very fond of the Alaskan sights.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Daniel, her daughter Christine Finnegan, and her parents Donald and Betty.
She is survived by her son Daniel W. Bagby IV, his wife Cheryl, Grandsons Steven and Matthew, and Granddaughter Kathrine Finnegan.
