LANE, DONNA: MANSFIELD, TEXAS. Donna K. Lane, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 17, 2023 with her faithful companion Teddy by her side at her home in Mansfield, Texas.
Donna Lane was born in Denison, Texas on March 4, 1940 to C.B. and Ethel Moore.

Donna and her beloved husband John were married in August 1964 and were members of the Walnut Creek Country Club where John pursued his great love of golf. They were longtime residents of Mansfield, and were blessed with many loyal friends. Donna was a devoted wife and she and John settled in Mansfield in the 1970s. Donna ran a travel business for years. Donna and John were great lovers of dogs and had many faithful companions throughout the years. Although they did not have children of their own, they had a number of nieces and nephews, as well as, great nieces and nephews that they loved like they were their own. Donna was known as Aunt Donna to many.

Survivors: Donna had one sister, the late Byrdene Moore Tucker, and is survived by her nieces and nephews, Loren Traeger, John Traeger, David Conover, Betsy Parody, Susan Mayman, Amy Arnold, Suzan Berggren. She was very close to her late nephew Sam Murphy and his family. Aunt Donna had 8 grand-nephews, 7 grand-nieces, 6 great grand-nephews and 6 great grand-nieces. Funeral services: 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 30th at Blessing Funeral Home Chapel, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Interment: Donna will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery with her late husband John H. Lane on Wednesday, August 30th. Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 29th, at Blessing Funeral Home.
