John Wayne was born on April 27, 1951 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He served in the US Marine Corp from 1971 to 1976 where he reached the rank of Sergeant. He worked at the US Postal Service for over 25 years.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Paulette King; brother, Bill King; sisters, Judy Soehlig & Jenny Wilson; children, Greg King, Sabrina Daniels, and Derek and Roy Hall; and seven grandchildren.
