Karisa Crawford

Karisa Crawford, age 69, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on October 13, 2025. Born on August 18, 1956, she was the beloved daughter of H.D. and Tommie Hughes, who have preceded her in death. Karisa grew up in a loving household and cherished the values instilled in her during her formative years.

In August 1975, Karisa married the love of her life, Micheal Crawford. Together, they built a nurturing family, welcoming two daughters into their lives. Karisa was a dedicated mother to Amy Elizabeth Crawford, who also predeceased her, and Erin Kristy Crawford. She approached motherhood with love and devotion, instilling in her children the same values she learned in her youth.

Karisa will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and caring nature. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, often engaging in hobbies that reflected her creative side. Whether it was spending time with family, working on puzzles, or simply enjoying a good book, her personal strength and warmth created lasting memories for those around her.

The community is invited to pay their respects and celebrate Karisa's life at Blessing Colonial Chapel in Mansfield, Texas. Visitation will be held on October 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Mansfield Cemetery at 3:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory.

Karisa is survived by her loving husband, Micheal Crawford, and their daughter, Erin Kristy Crawford. Though she will be missed deeply, her legacy of love and strength will continue through her family. Her memory will be forever cherished by those who knew her, and she leaves behind a rich tapestry of life woven with love, kindness, and hope.
