Lenora Faye Smith

Ms. Lenora Faye Smith officially gained her angel wings on November 30th, 2023, but those who knew her have always known she had them from birth on March 23rd, 1960. She was a woman of immense faith, love, and passion.

Cissy, as many knew her, poured her love and passion into everything she did, from gardening to raising and caring for every animal she encountered, all the way to enjoying her quiet time watching all the crime drama she could get.

Although she was sweet, sassy, and even sometimes a little salty, she was everyone's MOM, not just to her 5 kids. She was a caregiver in every sense of the word.

She absolutely loved the holidays and Christmas was her favorite, so much so that she decided to go "home" this year to spend it with her heavenly family.

Lenora was preceded in death by her parents Wayne Jernigan and Gevernia Ortega, son Shawn Ray Cook, Brothers, Bruce and Glenn Jernigan, Nephews, Brandon and BJ Jernigan, and Grandmother Faye Alexander.

She bids farewell to honor and cherish her memories and carry on her legacy of love: Her children: Shanna Miller & Husband Josh, Dustin Cook & Wife Shelby, Mindy Hightower, Rex Smith & Wife Debby. Grandchildren: Braeton Adams, Maddox Miller, Andrew Cook, Harley Cook, Romey Cook, Bodie Cook, Kaden Abbot, Karson Abbot, Sunny Abbot, Graycee Rascom Jaycee Rasco, Colton Rasco, Vincent Smith, Myliegh Smith, and Olivia Upton. Brothers: Steve Jernigan & Wife Rose, Dean Jernigan, Sister, Gevernia Tingle. Along with numerous "adopted" sons and daughters, along with many, many more extended family and friends.
