Lillian Votion McDonald, 87, passed away on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. She was born the eldest of six children to Louis Votion and Lois Fisher, in San Antonio, Texas, on January 14th, 1938.

She had two sisters: JoAnn and Laura Ann and three brothers: Rodney, Danny, and Patricio Buentello. Her family later moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she attended Paschal High School. She left High School during her senior year in 1955 to help support her family. While working in a clothing factory, she met her first husband, Weldon T. Peters. Together, they had three children: Mark Durrell, James (Mitch), and Sheila Jo. Lillian later had two more children, Bueford Jr. and Kimberly Elaine, with her second husband Bueford C. McDonald in Kentucky. She would return to Texas in the late 1980's and worked in the home healthcare industry. Her pastimes included bowling, card games, board games, game shows, tending to her flowers and birdwatching.

A celebration of Life will be held for her on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 2pm. Blessing Funeral Home 401 Elm St., Mansfield, TX 76063
