Lillian Mary Woodlee, aged 79, went home to be with the Lord April 6 th , 2024. She was born May 18 th ,
1944 to Alois and Irene Wiatrek, in Kennedy, Texas.
After graduating high school, Lillian spent 25 years as the Proof Operator Supervisor at Midland National
Bank, now known as Wells Fargo. She went on to spend 23 years as a parishioner at St. Jude’s Catholic
Church, where she led the Rosary, was on the welcome committee, the sewing committee, and CCD. She
was a devoted lifelong Catholic.
Lillian married the love of her life Thomas Woodlee in 1963, they shared a beautiful 60 years together.
She was known as the heart and soul of her family. Lillian loved them more than anything. She was a
loving wife, wonderful mother, and a caring friend. Lillian loved gardening, knitting, crocheting, and
making blankets.
She was an avid reader, knitter, quilter, volunteer at her Church, Mother, wife, Mimi and dearest friend
to many. She loved her family, and she invested her talent and time to ensure all those she shared time
with her knew how important and loved they were. She loved Jesus and made a point of sharing that
love not only by church attendance but in how she loved others.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Alois and Irene Wiatrek, brother James Wiatrek, sister Janice
Terrell, and granddaughter Hannah Woodlee.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory beloved husband Thomas, sons Tim and his wife Gina, Steve,
and Paul and his wife Vicki, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother Kenneth Wiatrek and his
wife Liz, sisters Susie Bielefeld and her husband Brian and Jean DiMambro and her husband Robert,
sister-in-law Pat Bennett and husband Bill and numerous extended family and friends.
