Lilly Hall

October 9, 1936 — March 9, 2024

Lilly Magalene “Maggie” Hardt Hall went to be with her Savior on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the age of 87.

Maggie was born in Balsora, TX on October 9, 1936, and lived in Grand Prairie, TX. She attended schools in Florence Hill until she met her sweetheart Jim Hall in 1953 and wed. She held jobs in Grand Prairie and in Mansfield, but her happiest roles were being a homemaker and steward for God.

Maggie was a devoted wife and compassionate mother and raised her children under her strong Christian beliefs. Maggie taught her family generosity, kindness and all actions to be deployed through LOVE.

Maggie loved discipleship, dominoes and being surrounded by her family and friends. She had an adventurous streak, loved to fish and was a low-key comedian. Maggie and Jim lived in Mansfield since 1964 and were members of First Baptist Church. They have 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Maggie was predeceased by her husband (James C. Hall), daughter (Shelia Hall Riley), parents, three brothers and two sisters. Maggie was blanketed by love, support and leaves a legacy through her children James R. “Rick” Hall and wife, Jane; Michele Hall Prescott and husband, Randy; sisters Deloras Hardt Hall and Doris Hardt Raney and their families, plus numerous nieces/nephews/cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend thanks to healthcare professionals in Mansfield, AlevCare Hospice and Legend of Mansfield Senior Living for pouring into Maggie and showing her great care.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated forwarded to the Samaritan’s Purse, www.samaritanspurse.org or Texans on Mission, www.texansonmission.org ; both international and local organizations that were close to Maggie’s heart.
