Linda Ruth Henry

May 11, 1949 — February 7, 2024

Linda Ruth Henry went home to be with the Lord, February 7th, 2024. She was born to Ruth Evelyn Dunn “Red” and Melvin C. Boyett on May 11th, 1949, in Mansfield, Texas.

Linda married the love of her life James Henry, they shared five children, and shared a beautiful loving 45 years together. Her children were her pride and joy. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Linda was an amazing mother, even when sick, she made sure they got where they needed to go and had anything they would need. She carried great strength, never letting anyone or anything stop her. Linda loved music, specifically Van Halen and AC/DC, you had to be careful riding in the car when her favorites came on, because she liked to turn it up loud, and on one account of her oldest son, she could bust the speakers out. Although, she never played it loud with young ears in the car.

Linda was a God-fearing woman, holding on to unwavering faith, and had a strong spirit of discernment. She showed the love of Christ wherever she went, never having a harm ill word to say of anyone. Linda was selfless and loved everyone unconditionally. She was a caregiver in every sense of the word. She never turned a stray away; cat, dog, or person, it didn’t matter to her. Linda loved the Lord, and was a devout member of her church, doing secretarial work or whatever was needed. She will always be remembered as one of the sweetest ladies ever.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Red Boyett.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, beloved husband James Henry, children Bill Henry and wife Laurie, Michael Henry and wife Susan, Kalena Taylor and wife Amy, Farah Gregory and husband William, and Jacob Henry and wife Sophia, grandchildren Melody Beddow and husband Ryan, Justin Henry and wife Shacha, Ashley Giles and husband John, Kenneth Henry and wife Cori, Stetson Saucier and wife Julia, Coy Kubin, Kaylee Kubin, Amberlynn Gregory, and William J.
