Mary Ellen Bowden

MANSFIELD -- Mary Ellen Bowden joined the heavenly choir Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Mary was born in Fort Worth on Dec. 13, 1939. She was a devoted homemaker having raised four children and was a loving and gentle person who had no enemies.
Mary was gifted with a beautiful soprano voice, and enjoyed singing in church choirs and with friends. Gardening was a favorite pastime where she focused on flower arrangements. She was a member of the Hoe & Hope Garden Club in Arlington where she won several awards for her arrangements.
Survivors include her husband Ed Bowden; son Christopher Bowden; Daughters Michele Bowden, Angela Berger and husband Matthew, Elizabeth Dreiling and husband David; granddaughters Victoria Berger Keller and husband Matthew, and Valerie Berger
