Monica Bosillo

September 14, 1983 — May 20, 2026

Mansfield, Texas

Monica Bosillo, aged 42, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026. Born on September 14, 1983, in Denver, Colorado, Monica was the cherished daughter of Larry and Heather Bennet. She spent her formative years growing up in the close-knit community of Englewood, Colorado, where her strong character and kind heart began to blossom.

A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, class of 2007, Monica initially embarked on a career in accounting. However, fifteen years ago, she chose to embrace her true calling as a devoted stay-at-home mother, dedicating herself to raising her two beloved children, Madelyn and Vincent. Her home was her workplace, a place filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love.

In September 2007, Monica married her loving husband, Chris Bosillo. Their partnership was a source of strength and joy, and together they nurtured a family grounded in compassion and support. Monica’s boundless enthusiasm and encouragement extended into every aspect of her children's lives, always taking pride in their interests and accomplishments.

Outside of her devotion to family, Monica found happiness in simple pleasures: reading enriching books, baking and decorating beautiful cakes that delighted friends and family alike, and tending to her garden, where she cultivated not only plants but also peace and serenity. These hobbies reflected her creative spirit and her desire to bring beauty and sweetness into the lives of others.

Monica will be remembered as a strong, kind, and caring woman—someone whose selflessness was evident in every act, big or small. Her sweet, funny, and compassionate nature touched all who knew her, inspiring those around her to look for ways to help others. A truly remarkable woman, Monica’s life was a testament to love and generosity. It was no surprise then, that through the Lift Gift organization, Monica chose to be an organ donor carrying on her kindness and care for others even after her passing.

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Heather Bennet; her devoted husband, Chris Bosillo; her beloved children, Madelyn and Vincent Bosillo; her sister, Alexis Brown; and a large extended family who will carry her memory forward. She was preceded in death by her brother, Devin Bennet.

Services to honor Monica’s life will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield, Texas, on May 29, 2026. The Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Mansfield at 11:30 a.m. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the legacy of a woman whose strength and kindness left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her.

Monica Bosillo’s absence leaves a profound void, but her spirit endures, forever treasured in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. Her life was a gift, her love a shining example, and her memory a blessing to all.
