Nancy Lee Adair

July 28, 1935 — August 21, 2020

Nancy Lee Lone Adair got to meet her Lord and savior as she entered the pearly gates on August 21, 2020 at the age of 85.

She was born July 28, 1935 to William Everett and Della Mae Lone in Madill, Oklahoma. She was raised in Madill where she graduated high school in 1954. After graduation she moved to Dallas, Texas where she was a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell. She met Joe Adair and fell in love. They were married on October 23, 1955. They moved to Lewisville, Texas where they had three children, Vickie, Michael and Chris. They moved to Mansfield in December of 1969. In 1970 they became proud land owners where they raised their family. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and crafts. She decorated cakes for a while. She was the church secretary for the First Assembly of God church in Mansfield for 20 years while also being a Sunday school teacher for the children. They moved to town and she was a pharmacy tech at Winn Dixie for many years. She retired in 2003 so she could spend her time spoiling the grand kids. She also enjoyed going to the Mansfield Senior Citizens Center where she had many friends. She attended Creekwood Church where she was involved in the Pimetimers.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Franklin Adair, her parents William and Della Mae Lone and grandson Cody Gene Stidham.

She is survived by her three children, Vickie and husband Gene Stidham of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Michael and his wife Tanya Adair of Venus, Texas, Chris Adair of Alvarado, Texas. Grandchildren are Katie and husband Zech Allozi of The Colony, Texas, Crystal and her husband Gabe Strawn of Arlington, Texas, Heather and her husband Clint Duncan of Ft. Worth, Texas, Everett Adair of Arlington, Texas, Cassandra and her husband Michael Hodges of Arlington, Texas, Casey Adair of Tenaha, Texas, Colby Adair of Alvarado, Texas, and her sister Norma Lowery of Collinsville, Texas. She has 16 great grandchildren who she loved to spoil. Nancy was loved by all who knew her. She will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the PKD Foundation.
