On October 30, 2019, our beloved and adored, Nathan Allan "Buddy" Irwin, left his earthly body to join his father in eternity.
His final moments were spent surrounded by his mother, brother, nephew and some of his closest friend family in prayer, song and remembrance.
Nate was welcomed into the world, October 7, 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas by his parents, Morris and Vikki Irwin, and his big brother, Matthew. A few years later both brothers welcomed their step sister, Erica.
Nate (Buddy) grew up and completed high school in Crowley, Texas. He was active in scouts, band, youth sports, and especially soccer. During that time he bonded with a group of friends who have remained a close family throughout his life.
Buddy was a simple man, uninterested in material possessions. He loved sports, co0oking or tailgating, movies, music and loved to make people laugh with his quirky wit. He longed to be everyone's hero. Although he never married, he adored children and became known as "Buddy the Leprechaun King". He was not only an uncle, but a surrogate big brother to his nephew, Eli. He was easy to love.
He is predeceased by his father, Morris P Irwin, and survived by his mother, Vikki Irwin, brother, Matthew Irwin, and sister, Erica Goodman. Other survivors include four nephews, Eli Irwin, Jackson Wright, Caden Wright, Bryson Goodman, and two nieces, Alexa Wright, and Keely Goodman, cousins, Doyle Neal, Darlene Brandt, Brenda Mercardo, Mickey Corley, a large friend family, and his faithful companion, Duke.
