Robbin Elaine Seeton was called home in the early morning hours on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gerald Seeton, her son Kurt Seeton and daughter-in-law, Jana Seeton, her son, Jeff Seeton, grandchildren Katelyn, Lauren, Britt, Jack, and Kasen, brother Larry Carrell and wife Debbie Carrell, and mother, Joyce Gibson, along with a niece and five nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Carrell.
Robbin was born to Charles Ray Carrell and Joyce Gibson in Fort Worth, Texas on November 19, 1955. She was married to Gerald Seeton on March 22, 1975, and raised two sons, Jeff and Kurt. Throughout their upbringing she enjoyed traveling to the lake, watching ball games, and cherished the people Jeff and Kurt brought into her life. Everyone was treated like a part of the family. When God created her, He made the kindest soul to grace this world. Robbin gave love, affection, understanding, and peace to everyone with whom she came into contact.
However, her undying legacy is her five grandchildren that she adored. When they were born, things changed. Katelyn, Lauren, Britt, Jack, and Kasen were her crowning achievements in a life filled with joy and happiness. She was able to spend the last decade, after a 35-year career in banking, doting over her grandchildren. They could do no wrong and made G-maw prouder with every passing day. Christmas was an event to behold every year and there wasn’t a holiday that went by without making cookies, coloring easter eggs, or carving pumpkins. The phrase “G-maw said…” was born.
Today, we celebrate the life of Robbin Elaine Seeton and rejoice that she is in the presence of The One who gave his only son for our sins. We rejoice that she was reunited with her father, Charles, in eternal life. We know she is giving him an earful about his great grandchildren. We appreciate the family, friends, and co-workers that enriched her life.
