Sandra Louise Deharde

Sandra Louise Deharde, 78, passed away surrounded by her family, Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

Sandra was born February 27, 1940, in Amarillo, TX. The youngest of nine children. She spent the first semester of her senior year at Tustin High School in Orange County, California where she was a majorette. Sandra returned home to Amarillo for her high school graduation. Following high school she attended nursing school at Northwest Texas Hospital. She was a registered nurse.

She married Harvey Deharde, her husband of 55 years, on March 8, 1962. They have three children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sandra stayed home with her children and they followed Harvey with his career all over the world. Sandra was a phenomenal mother and could spoil her grandchildren better than anyone. She was very involved in her church, incredibly close with her siblings and had many friends. Sandra will be deeply missed.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Deharde (8-17-17), her parents Willis Byrd and Lucy Condren and siblings Jack Condren, Patricia Kersten and Charlotte Fyfe.

She is survived by her children, Marla Guidry, Gena Kelly and Michel Deharde; grandchildren, Lance, Lane, Madison, Jack and Michael; great grandchildren, Shelby and Layton; five siblings as well as numerous friends and family.
