Sergio Sigala Martinez, 50, of Mansfield, TX, passed away on April 9, 2024. He was born in Nochistlan Zacatecas, Mexico, on September 12, 1973, to Magdalena Sigala Martinez. He moved to the United States when he was two years old and grew up in Mansfield, TX.
Sergio worked as a forklift operator for Universal Logistics, a supplier for General Motors, for many years. He was a hardworking and reliable employee who took pride in his job.
Sergio had many hobbies and interests. He was an avid skateboarder when he was younger and enjoyed and excelled at golf. He loved watching scary movies and dancing. He loved playing video games spending hours playing Call of Duty with his brother Saul. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. He was a beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and making them laugh.
Sergio was preceded in death by his mother, Magdalena Sigala Martinez. He is survived by his daughter, Melody Bandola and her husband, Tim Bandola; his grandson, Giovanni Bandola; his siblings, Rosa Martinez and husband Simon Suarez, Maribel Holgin, Sonia Sigala Martinez, Saul Sigala Martinez, and Teresa Carrington and her husband, Andrew Carrington; his nieces and nephews, Samantha Holgin, Robert Holgin, Judy Tellez, Lesley Ranney, Vanessa Suarez, Antonio Martinez, Laura Ashley Martinez, Mia Carrington, Summer Carrington, And numerous great nieces and nephews.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Blessings Funeral Home in Mansfield, TX
