Sharon Anita Goodson passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Born on February 11, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, she lived a life characterized by love, compassion, and service to others.

Sharon was a proud graduate of Sunset High School, Class of 1965, and went on to earn her degree from the University of North Texas in 1969. For 14 years, she made a significant impact as a teacher at Alice Ponder Elementary, nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in her students. After her time in education, she and her husband, Robert Goodson, embarked on a 40-year journey together in business, founding Pro Com Plus, where they supported each other in both their professional and personal lives.

Sharon was married to Robert for 55 loving years, a union that was a testament to their devotion and partnership. They built a beautiful family together, which includes their daughter Kendra Consilio and her husband Carl, and their son Geoffrey Goodson and his wife Thelma. Sharon was also a proud grandmother to Kennedy and Carter Consilio, Gracie and Cora Goodson, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sharon was known for her generous spirit and engaging personality. She had a deep passion for reading, often finding herself lost in the pages of a good book. She would lovingly sew for her grandchildren, crafting pieces that were not only practical but also full of memories. Her vibrant high school years as a Drill Captain and a tennis player reflected her spirited nature and dedication to her pursuits.

Sharon is survived by her cherished family, including her husband Robert, daughter Kendra and son-in-law Carl, son Geoffrey and daughter-in-law Thelma, grandchildren Kennedy, Carter, Gracie, and Cora, and her brother Charles Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and O.C. Carter, who instilled in her the values she carried throughout her life.

A viewing will be held on March 2, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM at 401 Elm Street, Mansfield, TX, allowing friends and family to honor Sharon's memory and celebrate her legacy of love and warmth.
