A true beacon of compassion and resilience, Sheila's journey through life was one filled with unwavering devotion to those she held dear and a steadfast commitment to her profession as a registered nurse.

In her early years, Sheila embraced the joy of learning, ultimately earning her degree as a nurse. This accomplishment marked the beginning of a career dedicated to caring for others, where she made a significant impact on the lives of countless patients and families, offering not only her expertise but also her genuine warmth and kindness.

Sheila's life was beautifully intertwined with her family. She leaves behind her beloved son, Rick Pinyan, who carries forward her spirit of love and care. Her sisters, Kathy Donaldson and Glenda Ferguson, and brother, James Glen Ferguson remain deeply connected to her legacy, sharing countless memories and the bond of siblinghood that brought them immense joy throughout their lives.

Bringing brightness and laughter into her life were her grandchildren, Rachel Pavlov, Ricky Pinyan, Ryan Pinyan and Sarah Spellman as well as several great-grandchildren. They were a source of immense pride and joy for Sheila, and she cherished each moment spent with them, always encouraging their dreams and aspirations. Her love for them was profound and unconditional.,

Sheila was preceded in death by several loved ones including her parents, her belove husband, Dan Allen Curlee, and daughters, Darla Pinyan Blackman and Melinda Pinyan Spellman.

A graveside service will be held to honor Sheila's life at Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield, Texas, on May 1, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM. As we gather to celebrate a woman whose life was characterized by kindness, dedication, and love, we invite all who knew Sheila to join in remembrance of her beautiful soul.
