Stephen Earl Greenlee, born on October 4, 1947, in Stockton, California, passed away on June 15, 2025. He served his country honorably for 22 years in the Army, achieving the rank of Major. Stephen's military career began as an enlisted soldier, and he transitioned into an officer, initially serving as a Military Police officer. His dedication and service took him to various locations, where he participated in significant conflicts, including Vietnam and Desert Storm. Stephen later became a skilled pilot during his tenure in the Army, demonstrating his passion for aviation.

After his distinguished military service, Stephen spent 18 years serving as a Police Officer in San Jose, California. He exemplified a life of commitment and service, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Known for his kind and caring nature, Stephen was a humble man who would go out of his way to assist others without seeking recognition. He treasured family and was devoted to his wife, Elizabeth "Pepe" Greenlee, whom he married in 1991. His spirit was underscored by a strong sense of community; he held a deep love for his church and was an Ordained Minister, often sharing his love for music through singing.

Stephen's personality shone brightly through his calm demeanor and his ability to switch into "cop mode" when necessary. He was family-oriented, enjoying quality time with his loved ones and participating in gatherings and celebrations.

He had an unmistakable passion for fast cars, particularly the iconic muscle cars of the 1970s, and enjoyed restoring them to their former glory. His love for aviation continued beyond his military career, as he occasionally flew private planes. Additionally, Stephen took great pride in building model trains, a hobby that showcased his attention to detail and craftsmanship. Travel was a cherished activity for him, particularly to places like Hawaii, where he relished relaxing by the beach.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Pepe" Greenlee; his son-in-law DeWayne Walton; his daughter Amey Piks and her husband Mike; and his son Aaron Greenlee. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Cody Walton, Shelby Walton, Caleb Piks, and Abby Piks, all of whom he adored.

He is reunited in eternity with his parents, Floyd and Ruby Greenlee; his daughter Gina Walton; and his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Kathy Greenlee.
