Stuart Neville Willmott was born in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight on April 14, 1935, to Joan and William Willmott. He passed away on October 17, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.
Stuart's memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, including his beloved wife, Ingrid, and his adoring children, Kim, Jane, and Alice. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved stepchildren, Michael, Andrea, and Bryan, whom he treated as his own. Stuart was a loving presence to all of his family members, including his brothers and sisters, Cora, Derek, John, Joy, and Diana.
His legacy continues through his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Stuart's life was richly adorned with the love and laughter of family, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
With 37 years of dedicated service, Stuart made an indelible mark at SimuFlite, where his passion for his work was evident to all who knew him, and he had many great accomplishments including the Ed Link Award of Excellence in Simulation.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Stuart was happiest spending his time outdoors. He found solace and joy in birdwatching, enjoyed many rounds of golf, and cherished the simple pleasure of taking walks.
Stuart was a man of many tastes and endless stories, and a true connoisseur of life's finer moments. He had a knack for making every adventure unforgettable, sharing laughs and libations with friends old and new. His companions can attest that he was, without a doubt, a true expert in the art of creating great times and keeping the best company.
Stuart’s legacy will live on through the memories and love he shared with family and friends, as well as the lasting impact of his passions and generosity. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
