Teofista was born in the Philippines on October 6, 1936, the daughter of Bernardo Masilang and Rosa Santiago Masilang.
She is survived by one son, Renatio Solis and fiancé, Lani Manguerra; daughter, Grace Robles and husband, Steven Robles; three granddaughters, Nina Robles, Isabella Robles and Trisha Anne Solis; two grandsons, Caleb Robles and Steven Robles, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Michael Renfroe, Thalia Renfro and Kayden Renfro; two sisters, Rufina Reyes and Alicia Santiago; and three brothers, Virgilio Masilang, Ricardo Masilang and Severino Masilang.
