Velma "Maxine" Farmer, 78, passed away July 4, 2016.
Maxine, a caretaker at heart, adopted and cared for 6 children and any stray animal that needed a loving home. She was a hard working woman that never complicated any aspect of life. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Maxine is survived by her sons Otis and James, daughter Sandy, brother James, sisters Tommie and Marie, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
