Walter "Walt" DaPrile

Walter "Walt" DaPrile, passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born on May 27, 1949, in Perth Amboy, NY, Walt grew up in Arlington, TX. He graduated from Arlington High School and earned his degree from the University of Texas Arlington in 1975.

Walt spent over 50 years in the automotive manufacturing industry. Beyond his professional life, he was a loving family man, celebrating 53 years of marriage with his cherished wife, Carolynn. His family treasures memories of dancing to Dean Martin on the patio, his affection for his Australian Shepherd, Ranger, and his steadfast support for the Texas Rangers and Texas Longhorns.

Walt is survived by his wife, Carolynn, his children Kimberly (Chad) Troxell, Christopher, Landon (Jamie), and Josh, his six grandchildren, Emma, Haley, Austin, Megan, Brooke, and Case, and his brother, Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Known for his great heart, Walt was a devoted friend, a loving "PawPaw," and a cornerstone to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
