Pastor Walter E. Sanders, beloved servant of the Lord, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. He was born on April 12, 1945, in Foreman, Arkansas, to Ethel and Walter Sanders. Pastor Sanders dedicated his life to the ministry, serving as a pastor for an incredible 55 years, guiding countless individuals in their spiritual journeys with compassion and wisdom.

Walter was married to Kathy Sanders, who undoubtedly shared in the blessings and challenges of a life devoted to faith and service. Beyond his ministry, he also served honorably in the United States Army, exemplifying commitment and duty to his country.

Funeral services for Pastor Walter E. Sanders will be held at Blessing Funeral Home, located at 401 Elm Street, Mansfield, Texas, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation starting at 9:00 AM to pay their respects and celebrate his life and legacy.

Following the funeral, Pastor Sanders will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. His unwavering dedication to his faith and community will be cherished and remembered by those whose lives he touched.
