William Jackson Hubbard, known as Bill, passed March 16, 2026 in Midlothian, Texas. Bill was born on January 15, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas to Lon T. & Mary Alice Jackson Hubbard. The family moved to Mansfield when he was very young and made their home on Broad Steet, now David Cook’s office.
Bill retired from the railroad after 32 years working ticket sales mostly for Texas Pacific, Union Pacific and Southern Pacific. He also was a supporter of several Indian villages and loved going to New Mexico and collecting unique Indian pieces. He loved all his special cats. He was a lifetime member of the Mansfield Historical Society.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lon T. & Mary Alice, brothers, T.J. Hubbard, Johnny Hubbard and nephew Tommy Hubbard. He is survived by many cousins, friends and very special (like family) friends Brent Hickman and Judy Reagan.
